GAI Policy Officer Rory Dunphy and Vice-Chair Ric Pasquali, were delighted to attend the Heat Pumps: Knowledge X-Change & Networking Event organised by Department for Economy, Geological Survey of Northern Ireland, Ulster University and GeoEnergyNI.  The event showcased a number of speakers providing an overview of the current market of HP, the potential opportunities for the geothermal sector in Northern Ireland to contribute to decarbonising heating in the residential, commercial and and industrial sectors.  The research and progress on heat pump technologies at University of Ulster was showcased as part of the day and demonstrated how high temperature solutions can further help support the energy transition.  For more information on the event click here
