Held every three years, the EGC is the largest geothermal event in Europe. This year it will be held in Strasbourg, in the Upper Rhine Graben. This promises to be an exciting meeting, and will include a field trip to the famous Soultz-sous-Forêts geothermal plant (now producing 1.7 MWe from deep wells in fractured granite).
